Bracket Town presented by Capital One
Branding a Fan Fest at Final Four
The North Texas cities of Dallas and Arlington played host to the 2014 NCAA Men’s Final Four Championship. And as usual, there were plenty of events scheduled to keep college basketball fans busy besides the games. Bracket Town is one of the most popular.
Similar in size and scope to NBA All-Star Jam Session, Bracket Town is an interactive, indoor fan fest that includes autograph sessions, youth clinics, musical performances and other family-friendly activities across the four days of Final Four weekend.
As its new title sponsor, Capital One needed an eye-catching presence inside of the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. Turner Live Events, a division of Turner Broadcasting, called Solomon Group for an assist with the activation.
Our team designed a branded environment for Capital One and provided custom fabrication, project management, and full production services including LED and video screens, lighting and audio systems. When Turner provided its own broadcast desk for use at the activation, Solomon Group designed and fabricated the elements necessary to transform it into a piece that perfectly matched the rest of Bracket Town’s environment.
It was a quick turnaround project, and Solomon Group was proud to deliver another clutch performance.
